The organizers are getting busy lining up the action plans to make sure that this reunion becomes another event worth remembering.  We hope that you also have started planning to join your "kalagaslas" on July 22 to 24, 2011 at the Embassy Suites - Anaheim South.  We emphasized the South because there is an Embassy Suites - Anaheim North that is at least ten miles away. We will have the Welcome Reception on the evening of Friday, July 22, 2011 followed by the Dinner / Dance on Saturday, July 23, 2011 and the Sunday picnic on July 24, 2011.

At the Club's monthly meeting held on July 31, 2010 at the residence of Ramon & Marina Garcia in Fountain Valley, California, the winning tickets were drawn.  Following are the Lucky Winners:

First Prize;               Remedios "Nengneng" La Sangre of Asuza, California

                                Mexican Riviera Cruise for Two Persons or $1,100.00 in Cash

 

Second Prize:           Connie L. Zaguirre of Wellington, Florida

                                One Laptop Computer  or $500.00 in Cash

 

Third Prize:              Nicole A. Umali of Moreno Valley, California

                                $200.00 in Cash

After all prizes and expenses were paid, we have $1,913.65 left.  This is enough to send one high school scholar through four years of high school studies with paid tuition fees and miscellaneous school expenses.

 

We extend our thanks to all supporters of your Club and we hope that you will continue to be involved in all its undertakings.  The success of this fund raising program could not have happened without the untiring efforts of Ramon Garcia, our Scholarship and Charitable Programs Director.  Thank you very much Mon.

Prizes include a Mexican Riviera Tour for two persons, a Laptop Computer, and cash.  Each ticket costs $10.00 and we are selling only 1,000 tickets.  The drawing of winning ticket numbers will be on July 31, 2010 or as soon as 600 tickets have been paid for.  You do not have to be at the drawing to win.
